Home Learning
At SENARP Vibe Independent School (SVIS), we recognise that learning does not stop at the end of the school day. Home learning plays an important role in reinforcing skills, promoting independence and supporting consistency between school and home. Where appropriate, pupils are provided with personalised home learning activities that reflect their individual needs, abilities and learning priorities. These activities are designed to be meaningful, achievable and supportive, rather than task-focused, and may include communication practice, life skills, sensory activities or preparation for adulthood goals.
We also understand that families benefit from practical guidance and structured support to help embed learning and therapeutic strategies at home. As part of the wider SENARP family, pupils and families at SVIS can access SENARP Home Support, a specialist service that works alongside families to strengthen consistency, confidence and outcomes beyond the school environment. SENARP Home Support complements school provision by helping families implement strategies in everyday routines, supporting generalisation of skills and promoting positive engagement at home and within the community. This joined-up approach helps ensure that pupils experience continuity, stability and high-quality support across all aspects of their lives.
