Parent/Carer/Family Partnership
At SENARP Vibe Independent School (SVIS), we work in close partnership with parents, carers and families to support pupils to achieve their best possible outcomes. We recognise that strong, trusting relationships with families are central to pupil wellbeing, progress and success. Our approach is underpinned by clear systems and regular opportunities for communication and collaboration.
Open communication is a key priority at SVIS. Families are routinely shared information about their child’s learning, including personalised learning targets, timetables, curriculum aims and class updates. We promote a positive, solution-focused approach to communication that values collaboration, celebrates progress and supports problem-solving. Daily contact between home and school helps ensure consistency and shared understanding.
SVIS also uses an online evidence-based learning platform to share pupils’ achievements and progress with families on a regular basis. Families have secure access to view updates and are encouraged to contribute observations from home, helping staff build a fuller picture of each pupil and inform future planning. In addition, we welcome families into school throughout the year for shared learning experiences and celebrations, providing opportunities to engage with staff and peers in a supportive environment.
To further strengthen our community, SVIS hosts regular opportunities for parents and carers to connect, share ideas and access information. These sessions support relationship-building, promote parental engagement and provide opportunities to meet key members of the school team and external services. Through these partnerships, we aim to ensure families feel informed, valued and actively involved in their child’s education.
